Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) won the presidential election on February 25 in the Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, South-South Nigeria, according to results posted on the INEC Results Viewing Portal (IReV). Contrary to what INEC said, Mr. Obi appears to have won the Rivers presidential election based on the number of votes he received, not Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). The results from different polling places in the 17 wards of Obio/Akpor LGA, as uploaded on IReV, were examined by PREMIUM TIMES, and they revealed a significant disparity with the INEC-announced result. While the LP earned 73,311 votes, the APC received 17,158. In the Rumuokoro Ward, it was found that results that had been initially recorded for the LP in 34 polling places had been wiped and replaced with results for the APC. PREMIUM TIMES totaled the information as provided by INEC despite clear edits and modifications. In other words, the numbers were added up exactly as they appeared on the result sheets, even if there was proof that the figures had been altered. Many people have claimed that Peter Obi actually won in Rivers State, which has stirred discussion online. It is February 25th, 2023, and the Nigerian presidential election has just concluded. According to the results posted...
